Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK - February 23, 2018 - IOTech is proud to announce and welcome Steve Osselton as the Company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Steve will be responsible for leadership of IOTech’s product development team and will be the lead architect for IOTech’s IoT Edge Platform developments.
Steve joins the IOTech team from ADLINK Corporation (formerly PrismTech) where he was lead Architect on many mission-critical middleware software product developments for Industrial, communications and military applications.
Steve also comes to IOTech with over 25 years of experience leading high-quality international middleware product development teams for both commercial and Open Source developments. He is, without doubt, a World-renowned expert in distributed embedded software technologies, having proactively participated in the development of international standards with the likes of the Object Management Group, the Industrial Internet Consortium and the Open FOG consortium. Steve holds a master’s degree in Distributed Systems.
